If you have a concern about a child please speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead:
Mr A Terry
If he is not available please speak to
Mrs S Jackson (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)
Our school community has a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place which are available on the web site or from the school office on request. All staff including our volunteers and supply staff must ensure that they are aware of our procedures; parents and carers are welcome to read these. Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will always ensure that any child protection concerns about a pupil are discussed with their parent/carer first unless we have reason to believe that this is not in the child's best interests. We will always contact the Multi Agency Referral Unit if we have any child protection concerns.
Below are our main safeguarding policies but others are available upon request
